Delete a link or a workspace

Deleting a link

The workspace owner and Admins can delete a link from the Short URLs page. Members can create and edit links but can't delete them.

Once a link is deleted, its short code stops working and visitors who follow it are sent to the Urlicer homepage. New clicks on it aren't counted. If the link had a custom alias, the alias becomes free and can be used for a new link. Deleting a link can't be undone.

Deleting a workspace

Only the owner can delete a workspace. Open the workspace's Settings page, click Delete this team and type the workspace's name to confirm.

The workspace disappears for everyone straight away and its members lose access. Its links are removed in the background, one batch every few minutes, and keep redirecting until their batch is reached. For most workspaces this takes minutes. A workspace with a very large number of links takes longer. Its memberships, invitations and saved analytics views are deleted with it. This can't be undone.

If you delete your account, every workspace you own is deleted the same way (see delete your account).
