Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Urlicer link-management service (the "Service") operated by Ivan Voitovych, sole proprietor, trading as “Urlicer” ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to create, shorten, or distribute links to content that is unlawful, fraudulent, malicious (malware/phishing), infringing, or that violates the rights of others. We may disable links or suspend accounts that violate this section or that pose a risk to the Service or other users.
Reporting abuse or illegal content. Anyone can report an abusive or harmful short link at urlicer.com/report or by emailing abuse@urlicer.com; our security contact is also published at /.well-known/security.txt. We operate a notice-and-action process: we review reports and may disable the link, warn visitors, or suspend the account responsible. We scan destination URLs for known malware and phishing and may act on those signals automatically.
3. Plans, billing, and payments
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, as selected). Payments, taxes, invoicing, and receipts are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms presented at checkout. Plan changes take effect as described at the time of the change: upgrades apply immediately (prorated) and downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period.
Price changes and your price guarantee. We may change our published prices at any time, and a new price applies to new subscriptions from the date we publish it. It does not apply to a subscription that is already running: for as long as your subscription remains continuously active, it keeps renewing at the price you subscribed at, including the price of any per-seat or add-on charge on that subscription. The guarantee belongs to that one continuous subscription rather than to your account, so it ends if the subscription is cancelled, expires, or lapses for non-payment, or if you move to a different plan or billing interval; anything you subscribe to afterwards is charged at the price current at that time. Taxes are set by your jurisdiction, can change independently, and are not part of the guaranteed price. If we ever have to end a guaranteed price because we are discontinuing the plan it belongs to (section 5), we will email you at least 30 days beforehand.
4. Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel at any time from your billing page; your plan remains active until the end of the paid period, after which it reverts to the Free plan. Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy.
5. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice of material adverse changes where practicable.
6. Your content and links
You retain ownership of the destination URLs and content you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service (e.g., storing and serving redirects, generating analytics). You are responsible for the lawfulness of the content you link to.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software and branding, is owned by us and our licensors and is protected by applicable law. These Terms grant you no rights in our intellectual property except the right to use the Service as permitted.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Ukraine have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example to cover a new feature, to reflect a change in how the Service works, or to comply with the law. Where a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will email the address on your account at least 30 days before it takes effect and post the updated Terms here with a new date. Changes that are not material (corrections, clarifications, and presentation) take effect when posted, as do changes we must make immediately to comply with the law or to protect the security of the Service or its users.
If you do not accept a change, you may cancel before it takes effect; cancellation works as described in section 4, so your plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for and the change never applies to it. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. Changes apply going forward only and never retroactively to a period already billed. A change to these Terms does not alter the price of a subscription that is already running. The price guarantee in section 3 holds for that subscription until it ends, whatever later versions of these Terms say. You can ask us which version of these Terms was in force on any given date and we will provide it.
