Before anything is used, a page says the link works once, so they can save what they need. It comes in seven languages, and English otherwise.

Only a pressed button counts

Chat previews and mail scanners fetch links on their own. They get the page, not the open, and you can check the link yourself too.

You hear when it's opened

An email with the time and country, or a webhook or Zapier step if you'd rather act on it.

How it works

The rules, so there are no surprises.

  • Paste your address. The One-time link form sets the limit, the Open page and the notice for you. Create it, and the message to send is ready.
  • Add a password if it matters who opens it. Anyone who gets the link can use the one open. A password limits that to the person you send the code to, and the warning then sits on the password page.
  • Choose what comes after. Once it's used, visitors see a page saying so, or a page of your own.
  • Change your mind. On a used link, One more use opens it once more without making a new one.
  • Sending to a list? Paste the addresses into bulk create and pick One-time link, and each one works once.
  • Know its limits. Only the short link stops. The page behind it stays where it is, so anyone who saved that address can still go there.

Is there a free one-time link?
One-time links start on Pro. Your account starts free, so you can see the form before you decide. Pricing.
Will a preview in WhatsApp or email use it up?
No. Only pressing Open counts, so anything that fetches the link on its own gets the page and goes no further.
What if I click my own link to check it?
You'll see the page, and nothing is used unless you press Open. If it does get used by mistake, One more use reopens it.
Is a one-time link private?
Not by itself: anyone who gets it can use the one open. Add a password for that. Password-protected links.
Can it work a few times instead of once?
Yes. Set any click limit, and the page says how many opens are left.
Does it work on my own domain?
Yes. It works the same on a custom domain as on ours. Branded links.
