About Urlicer
Urlicer is a URL shortener for teams. Every short link gets a QR code and click analytics on every plan, the free one included. Paid plans add your own domain and a separate login for each person on your team.
Who runs it
Urlicer is built and run by Ivan Voitovych, a software developer in Lviv, Ukraine. It is a sole proprietorship: Ivan Voitovych, trading as Urlicer.
Urlicer runs on open-source software Ivan also wrote: Viewi, a PHP framework whose pages render on the server and then run in the browser from the same PHP code, and Fluffy and Paws, the backend underneath it.
Where your data lives
The service runs on netcup servers in Amsterdam, in the EU. Our email goes through our own mail server, hosted with Hetzner in Finland. Click analytics use no cookies and never store a visitor's raw IP address. The full list of services we use, and what each one receives, is in the Privacy Policy.
What happens to your links
Links in your workspace never expire unless you set an expiry on one. If Urlicer ever closes, we will email every account owner at least 180 days before a named closing date, open link export to every plan until then, keep links on ivi.to redirecting for at least 12 months after it, and publish a redirect server under the MIT licence so you can serve your links yourself. That promise is section 12 of the Terms; What happens to your links explains it.
