Keep a link you made without an account

You can shorten a link on the homepage without signing in. Links made that way are temporary:

• They expire after 30 days. After that, visitors see a page saying the link has expired.
• They get a generated code. A custom alias, a custom domain or a password needs a workspace.
• There is no dashboard for them, so you can't see their clicks or edit them.

To keep one, click Keep this link under the result on the homepage. You will be asked to sign in or create an account, and then to choose the workspace it should go into. If you don't have a workspace yet, you can create one there.

Once kept, the link keeps the same address, its expiry is removed and it works like any other link in the workspace. You can then open its analytics and edit it.

A link can only be kept from the browser that made it, because that is how Urlicer knows it is yours. If you made several links in the same browser, the Short URLs page in your workspace offers to keep them all at once.

Keeping a link counts as a new link against the workspace's monthly link limit (see plans and limits). You need a role that can create links in that workspace, which means Member or above (see roles and permissions).
