Connect Urlicer to Claude
Connect Urlicer to Claude and you can ask for short links in a chat, with no API key to copy. Claude works in one workspace, the one you choose.
Before you start
- You need to be an owner or admin of the workspace, with a confirmed email address.
- Custom connectors depend on your Claude plan. If you don't see the option below, check what your plan includes.
Connect
- In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector.
- Give it a name, such as Urlicer, and enter
https://urlicer.com/mcpas the address. - Keep the sign-in options Claude suggests, and don't add any headers. Click Add, then Connect.
- Urlicer opens. Sign in if you need to.
- Check the app name and the address it will return to. For Claude that is claude.ai.
- Pick a workspace and click Allow.
What to ask
- Shorten https://example.com/spring-sale
- List my newest links
- How many clicks did my spring sale link get this month?
- Give me the QR code for that link
Claude can ask for your approval before each action. You choose how that works in its connector settings.
What Claude can do
It can create, find and change the links in that workspace, read their clicks, and get their QR codes. Your plan's limits apply, the same as anywhere else. It can't delete links, and it can't see your account or billing.
Changing where a link points also changes where its printed QR code goes, so check before you approve that.
Disconnect
Open the workspace's Developers page and click Disconnect next to the app, under Connected apps. Its access ends at once. Access also ends if the person who connected it leaves the workspace or stops being an owner or admin, within the hour.
A workspace can hold 10 connected apps. Developers can find the technical details in the MCP server docs.
