Password-protect a link

To keep a link private, add a password when you create or edit it. Visitors will see a prompt and must enter the correct password before they are forwarded to your destination.

• Share the password separately from the link (for example over a different channel).
• Clear the password field to remove protection and make the link open normally again.

Password protection is included in the Pro plan and above.

Password protection pairs well with expiry for sensitive, time-limited links.
