Password-protect a link

To keep a link private, tick Password-protect this link when you create or edit it, and enter a password. Visitors see a prompt and must enter the correct password before they are forwarded to your destination. After entering it, a visitor can open the link again for an hour without the password. After that they are asked again.

• Share the password separately from the link (for example over a different channel).
• Untick the box to remove protection and make the link open normally again.

Password protection is included in the Pro plan and above.

Links made on the homepage without an account can't have a password. A protected link can also have an expiry date.
