QR code for Facebook
Make a code that opens your Facebook page, a post or an event, for the shop counter, a poster or the back of a menu. Paste the link, style it, download it. Free, no signup.
Which link to paste
- Your page: it looks like
https://www.facebook.com/yourpage. Open the page in a browser and copy the address. - A post or an event: use its share option to copy the link.
People who scan it without the Facebook app will see the page in their browser, and some content may ask them to log in. Test it on a phone that is signed out.
Why make it dynamic
- Point it at what is on now. The page today, this month's event next week, without reprinting the poster.
- Count the scans. See how many people scanned, where and on which phones, apart from people who clicked the same link online.
