Instagram's app can also show a code for your profile. A code made here can be styled in your own colours and frame and downloaded for print, and a dynamic one can do two things a code tied to one profile cannot.
Why make it dynamic
- Change what it opens. Point the printed code at your profile now, at a launch post next month, and at a new handle if you rename the account, without reprinting.
- Count the scans. See how many people scanned the poster or the packaging, from which countries and on which phones, before you print more.
Scans are counted apart from ordinary clicks on the same link, so you can tell the poster from the bio.

- Table tents, counters and shop windows, where people already have their phone out.
- Packaging and receipts, to turn a buyer into a follower.
- Event posters and stands. Size it for the distance: about a tenth of how far away people stand, so 20 cm wide for 2 metres.
